Kids Klub Summer Escape

Each week at Kids Klub Summer Escape, children will participate in theme-inspired activities and will have the opportunity to interact with their peers. The camp offers a variety of games, sports-related activities, arts and crafts. Kids will also hear from guest speakers, participate in a talent show, build a time capsule, enjoy an ice cream social and more.
There is a trip to the pool and a cookout each Friday; children will receive a hot dog, chips and a drink. To see the weekly themes, click on the Brochure link below.
Purchase of care is accepted. Need-based scholarships are available. Applications will be accepted April 10, 2020-June 1, 2020. Awarded applicants will be notified no later than June 5 and must sign an acceptance letter and register the child in-person at the box office.
The camp is licensed by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and is open to residents and non-residents of Wicomico County.
At this time all registration packets and scholarship applications are available online only. Once parents have fully completed ALL paperwork, they should email packets to Tarrah Cava: firstname.lastname@example.org for review. Once reviewed and deemed complete, Tarrah Cava will contact the parent(s) individually with payment instructions.
- Age Group(s): Boys and girls ages 5-12
- Date(s): June 22-Aug. 28, 2020
- Time(s): Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
- Location(s): North Salisbury Elementary, Delmar Elementary and Westside Intermediate schools. The last week of camp will be at the Wicomico Civic Center.
- Registration Dates: Delmar registration: from April 10, 2020 – June 17, 2020 (or until full; space is limited). North Salisbury Elementary & Westside Intermediate registration opens April 10, 2020 (registration open until full; space is limited).
- Program Fee(s): $135 per child, per week
Multiple Child Discount: $115 per additional child, per week
Optional field trips: $20-25 per trip (field trips are first-come, first-served)

Additional Details: Registration and initial payment are to be made in person at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center box office.
Campers need to be registered by noon the Friday before each week of camp to be able to start the following Monday. Children registered after that will start that Tuesday.
Campers should wear closed-toed tennis shoes and bring a water bottle and nonperishable lunch and snacks. Children can also purchase supplemental snacks at camp that range in price from 50 cents to $1.
On water days, campers will need to bring a swimsuit, towel, flip-flops or water shoes and a plastic bag for wet items. Label personal items with permanent marker.
Kids Klub Summer Escape is a technology-free zone for campers. Campers are encouraged to leave electronics, games and toys at home. Campers who do bring these items will not be allowed to use them at camp. Kids Klub Summer Escape staff and Wicomico County Recreation, Parks and Tourism are not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen belongings.
