Land Preservation, Parks and Recreation Plan (LPPRP)
Wicomico County's Land Preservation, Parks and Recreation Plan is a comprehensive document, which serves as a planning tool to protect natural resource areas and provide public parks and recreation facilities to meet the demands of our citizens. An LPPRP is required by the State of Maryland in order for Wicomico County to be eligible to receive Program Open Space grant funding. The LPPRP must be updated every six years and approved by the County Executive and County Council.
As part of the latest update, the County has locally adopted the 2017 Wicomico County LPPRP below. A public comment form is also available for feedback.
