Photo Policy
Photos and videos on Wicomico County’s websites and social media accounts may contain images taken during public events, programs and activities. If you see a photo or video of yourself, or that you find objectionable, and that you would like removed from our galleries please contact us and we will review your request.
Social Media Guidelines
- Incitement of violence or violent behavior
- Defamation or spread of misinformation
- Copyrighted or commercial material
- Fraudulent material or accusations
- Obscene or illegal material
- Off-topic or spam material
Cancellations and Rainouts
You can hear a recorded listing of current program cancellations due to inclement weather by dialing our cancellation line at 410-548-4900 ext. 5. Visit the Wicomico County Board of Education for school closings.
Child Pick-up
Arrive to pick your child up five minutes before the program's scheduled closing. Failure to pick up your child on time may result in additional fees for lateness (if applicable) or in his or her removal from the program.
Special Needs
The Department is committed to providing accessibility for individuals with special needs and strives to provide equal, integrated participation in all programs, activities, and services. If you or your child has a special need, please indicate it on the registration form.
Refund Policy
Refund requests must be made in writing and received at least one week before the program/activity begins (three weeks for pavilion rentals). All refunds are subject to a 10% processing fee. Approved refunds will be sent to the registrant within 30 days from the date of approval, less the 10% processing fee. Requests for refunds received later than the established deadline will not be honored. Refund request form.
