The Westside Community Center is located in the town of Bivalve, about 15 miles from Salisbury via Nanticoke Road. Truly a "home away from home" for many local children, the Center was built in 1959 by the Westside Lion’s Club and has been owned by Wicomico County since the 1980’s. Inside is a full-size air-conditioned gym with a basketball court, climbing wall, stage and restroom facilities. Outside is a low ropes course, a multi-purpose field and picnic tables.

A tremendous resource for the local community, the Center provides a variety of youth and adult programs at a minimal cost. Programs are postponed until further notice. Click here for COVID-19 updates.

The Center also hosts special events, including the Annual Christmas Dinner. Click here for more information about activities at the Center or call 410-873-2993.

This park was funded in part by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources Program Open Space Grants.
