Project 7 ½

Project 7 ½ is designed to provide individuals with physical or mental disabilities the opportunity to play baseball.

With a location between existing fields 7 & 8 at the Henry S. Parker Athletic Complex, Field 7 ½ is the hub facility for Challenger Little League on the Eastern Shore and includes other adaptive and inclusive programs.

The field includes a synthetic surface for added safety, adjacent reserved parking and amenities including accessible pavilions, portalets and a changing room. An inclusive playground and a sensory trail have also been added to the location.

The capital campaign for this project launched in mid-August 2019 with a goal of $400,000. Through the support of private donations and state and county funding, that goal has been surpassed! Additional funds will be used to enhance field amenities. Click here to download a donation/pledge form. Donations can also be made online at https://www.cfes.org/donate. Select "Challenger Baseball Fund" from the drop-down menu.
