The East Wicomico Little League fields are located on the grounds of Winterplace Park. The well- maintained facility has four baseball fields with electronic scoreboards, dugouts and bleachers. There is also a permanent concessions building with restroom facilities along with a playground area. As the name suggests, the fields are home to the East Wicomico Little League which hosts teams for boys and girls ages 4 – 14 living in the Beaver Run, East Salisbury, Glen Avenue, and North Salisbury school districts. They offer the following divisions of play: Junior League (Ages 13/14), National League (Ages 11/12), American League (Ages 9/10), Pitching Machine League (Ages 7/8), and the Instructional Pitching Machine League (Ages 4 – 6). The East Wicomico Little League complex is not maintained by the Department of Recreation, Parks, and Tourism but is still considered a county park as significant funding was provided in its development through Maryland's Open Space Program.

This park was funded in part by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources Program Open Space Grants.
