Project 7 ½
Project 7 ½ is designed to provide individuals with physical or mental disabilities the opportunity to play the sport of baseball.
With a proposed location between existing fields 7 & 8 at the Henry S. Parker Athletic Complex, field 7 ½ would become the hub facility for Challenger Little League on the Eastern Shore and include other special needs programs.
The proposed field would include a synthetic surface for added safety, as well as field / parking access and associated amenities like a children’s play area with inclusive playground equipment.
The capital campaign for this project launched in mid-August with a goal of $400,000. Click here to download a donation/pledge form. Donations can also be made online at https://www.cfes.org/donate. Select "Challenger Baseball Fund" from the drop-down menu.
This park was funded in part by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources Program Open Space Grants.
