What are the park hours?
All County parks are open sunrise – sunset.

Are the parks pet-friendly?
Yes. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times.

Are the parks wheelchair accessible?
County parks are a mix of grass, gravel and paved surfaces.

The Henry S. Parker Athletic Complex is home to Field 7 ½, an adaptive baseball field, the Donnie Williams Inclusive Playground and a sensory trail with multiple sensory pods.

Pirate's Wharf features 2.1 miles of wheelchair accessible trails.

How do I rent a park / pavilion for an event?
Park and pavilion reservations can be made online for events 7+ days away. If your event is less than a week away, please call our box office at 410-548-4911 or stop by in person at 500 Glen Ave., Salisbury, MD 21804, Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. Reservations for each year open the first business day in January.

Photo Policy

Photos and videos on Wicomico County's websites and social media accounts may contain images taken during public events, programs and activities. If you see a photo or video of yourself, or that you find objectionable, and that you would like removed from our galleries please contact us and we will review your request.

Social Media Guidelines

We encourage the community to interact with our social media posts. However, we reserve the right to delete certain types of comments and posts from our pages.

User-generated posts may be rejected or removed when the content includes any of the following:

Cancellations and Rainouts

You can hear a recorded listing of current program cancellations due to inclement weather by dialing our cancellation line at 410-548-4900 ext. 5. Visit the Wicomico County Board of Education for school closings.

Child Pick-up

Arrive to pick your child up five minutes before the program's scheduled closing. Failure to pick up your child on time may result in additional fees for lateness (if applicable) or in his or her removal from the program.

Special Needs

The department is committed to providing accessibility for individuals with special needs and strives to provide equal, integrated participation in all programs, activities and services. If you or your child has a special need, please indicate it on the registration form.

Refund Policy

Refund requests must be made in writing and received at least one week before the program/activity begins (three weeks for pavilion rentals). All refunds are subject to a 10% processing fee. Approved refunds will be sent to the registrant within 30 days from the date of approval, less the 10% processing fee. Requests for refunds received later than the established deadline will not be honored. Refund request form.
