Wrestling - Fruitland Falcons
Falcons Youth Wrestling provides top quality instruction from area coaches and high school / college wrestlers as well as occasional scheduled workouts with area clubs. Practices consist of a regular routine of warm-ups, drills, technique and live wrestling to prepare for tournaments and matches, as well as wrestling-related games.

Parents will have to pay for tournament entry fees (typically $25 - $30 per tournament) and provide transportation.

Additional Details: Registration includes a Falcons Wrestling T-shirt, shorts and sweatshirt. Falcons uniforms will be issued (wrestling singlet) for tournaments, but must be returned at the end of the season. Wrestlers should wear a T-shirt, shorts, wrestling shoes and headgear to practices. Participants can also wear sweatpants and sweatshirts for practices but this is not required. Headgear should be orange, blue or white. Other (optional) equipment includes knee pads and mouth guard. Mouth guards are required if your child wears braces.
There is a free preview/intro night on Monday, Nov. 19, 2018, at 5:30 p.m., that everyone should attend, even those who participated last year. This will be held in the Midway Room of the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center.
