Mason Dixon Sports Complex
The Mason-Dixon Sports Complex is just down the street from Gordy Park and around the corner from Delmar Elementary School. The large complex has four ball fields along with lights, electronic scoreboards, bleachers, and a concessions building. During the spring and summer, the park hosts games for Delmar Little League Girl’s Softball as well as Wicomico County Men’s Softball. The Delmar Little League Softball Field has been named after George Leong, a community member recognized for his lifelong dedication to the youth of Delmar.
In addition to the ball fields, the complex has a well shaded playground area with a pavilion and picnic tables. This provides a nice area for families with small children to enjoy the games. The Mason-Dixon Sports Complex is provided by the Delmar Recreation Council.
This park was funded in part by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources Program Open Space Grants.
