Mardela Playground and Ball Park
The Mardela Playground and Ball Park is located in the heart of Mardela Springs, Maryland, right next to the Fire Department and Town Hall on Station Street.

The playground area boasts a new ADA-approved surface with wheelchair accessibility as well as two sets of play equipment. One set is designed for children ages 2-5 and the other for age 5 and older. The swing set offers multiple swing seat options to accommodate visitors of all ability levels.
The softball field, Raymond E. Robinson Jr. Memorial Ball Park, is home to Mardela’s local youth teams and hosts many games throughout the summer.
The Mardela Playground and Ball Park is not maintained by the Department of Recreation, Parks, and Tourism but it is still considered a county park as significant funding was provided in its development through Maryland’s Program Open Space.
This park was funded in part by the Maryland Department of Natural Resources Program Open Space Grants.
