Wolverines Wrestling Club

Cost: $60/person participation fee; $65 participation fee out of county
The ancient and time-honored sport of wrestling is a great way for your child to build self-confidence, self-esteem, make new friends, and improve coordination, strength, flexibility, and endurance. The program is for children ages 6-15 years and is held in the Midway Room of the Wicomico Civic Center from Nov. 16, 2009-March 17, 2010. Weekend tournaments are also available for interested wrestlers but require additional fees and parent involvement. Co-Ed Scholastic Volleyball Program
When: Wednesdays
Session III: April 14 – May 26, 7:30 P.M. – 8:30 P.M.
Where: Bennett Middle School
Cost: $30 Wicomico Resident; $35 Non-Resident
Girls and Boys grades 8th - 12th can continue to enjoy the sport of volleyball during the winter and spring months in the Co-Ed Scholastic Volleyball Program. Each session includes 7 nights. The first night will be an instructional/practice night, and then players will be grouped for scrimmage play. Li'l Sluggers Instructional Softball Program for Girls
When: Wednesday and Thursday, May 12 – June 24

Where: Winterplace Park
Cost: Resident: $40 / Non-resident $45
Li'l Sluggers is an instructional softball program for girls 5 - 8 years of age. All classes will be held once a week for seven weeks, and sessions are divided by age/skill group. All participants will need to bring a glove and water bottle to each session. Salisbury Moose Lodge provides t-shirts. Class sizes are limited, so register early. Junior Girls Softball League
When: Monday - Thursday & Saturday, May through June

Costs: Pre-Minor League $25/Wicomico Resident; $30/Non-Resident
Minor & Major Leagues $40/Wicomico Resident; $45/Non-Resident
Registration is open for the 2010 Junior Girls Softball League. This league is for girls 8 - 18 years of age and includes four age divisions. Pre-Minor is for girls 10 & under, Minor is for 12 & under, Major I is for 14 &under, and Major II is for girls 18 & under. Games will be played twice a week with an occasional Saturday game. Registration will increase by $5 after February 19. Referees and Volunteer Coaches are needed to help run a successful program. Salisbury Lacrosse Club
When: Monday - Thursday (practices) Saturday (games); March 1 through May 22
Where: Henry S. Parker Athletic Complex
Costs: $40/player for U7 teams; $85 for other members
Ages: 4-15 years old
The Salisbury Lacrosse Club is a not-for profit organization whose purpose is to promote and support the sport in the Salisbury area. Participants will learn the game of lacrosse while also having fun. Players in older age divisions play 8 games during the season against teams across the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Lewes, DE. Eastern Shore Junior Golf League
When: June 1 through September 1
Where: Matches will be played on local golf courses
Costs: $85.00/per child
Register at the Wicomico Youth & Civic Center from March 15 to May 15. Teams will be formed based on skill level and age. Formats include scramble, best ball and individual matches. Fee covers team logo golf shirt, trophies and season ending banquet. In addition to the $85 fee, players will be responsible for practice fees and playing fees at individual courses. Typically, the fee is no more than $5 to $15 per nine holes. Coaches will be responsible for informing players and parents of what fees to expect each time. Shore Sitck Field Hockey Camp
When: Monday - Friday, July 19 - 23
Times: 9:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M. & Friday 9:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M.
Where: Henry S. Parker Athletic Complex
Costs: $160/Wicomico Resident; $165/Non-Resident
Directed by Salisbury University’s Dawn Chamberlin, this camp is open to girls of all skill levels entering the third grade through graduated seniors and is intended to improve the skill level and conceptual knowledge of Field Hockey players. Challenger British Soccer Camp
When: Monday through Friday, July 5 - 9 or August 9 - 13

- Ages 3-4 years: 9 am to 10 am
- Ages 4-5 years: 10:15 am to 11:45 am
- Ages 6-14 years (Half Day): 9 am to 12 pm or 1 pm to 4 pm
- Ages 10-14 years: Half day or full day camps available
Where: Henry S. Parker Athletic Complex
Cost: $75 for ages 3-4 yrs; $92 for ages 4-5 yrs; $123 for ages 6-14 yrs; $123 Half Day Camp; $177 Full Day Camp for ages 10-14 yrs.
