Emerson C. Holloway Park is a large, wooded area located just around the block from the National Guard building on the west side of Salisbury. The neighborhood park has a spacious picnic area with several picnic tables, benches and grills for family cook-outs. There is also a playground area, two basketball courts, a recreational softball field, and a small pavilion with tables. In the summertime, Emerson Holloway is one of the county’s free Playground Program sites, providing supervised activities for children ages 5 and up from 9:30 – 4:30 each day.
