Don’t be intimidated! You just need to bring yourself and be ready to learn something new. Come work your body with groovy true-ly and some up-beat Latin music. We’ll have warm-ups, dance steps, choreography, and cool downs. Great stress reduction and exercise for the bones, brain, heart and muscles. Come packing your hips and a water bottle. Wear non-stick sole shoes (tennis shoes/sneakers with traction may wear the knees) Don’t miss out! Bridge Tournaments

Quilted Purse and Zipper Wallet “Look a Likes” Sewing Class
Saturday, September 20

Make a stylish fabric purse and zipper wallet for a fraction of the cost Mrs. Bradley’s famous brand name purse. Students are given a pattern and required to purchase supplies and precut the project before the class. The session will show machine threading and operation, purse construction, zipper insertion and finishing techniques for the project. Students should have used a sewing machine before they come to class, but the class is structured towards a beginner to intermediate skill level. Class size is limited to 8 students. Beginner Ballroom Dance

Don’t just watch the stars dance, learn how to twirl around the dance floor like a star too! Whether you’re just beginning ballroom dancing, or would like to brush up on your dance moves, this class is for you! You’ll learn classics, foxtrot, swing, waltz, and new dance steps while you stay in shape and socialize. The five session course will be led by Shirley Meeks. Pre-registration is required. Join us for an hour of great fun, exercise and dance. You don’t even need a partner. The beginning class is an introduction to line dancing–you will learn the basic steps and some easy, fun dances. The intermediate level requires line dance experience since we will learn more complex dances and steps. Dance exercises both your mind and body. Come and see how fast an hour of exercise flies by.
